Fubon Guardians’ hard throwing LHP 黃勝雄 (Huang Sheng-Hsiung) will undergo minor elbow surgery that will render him out for at least 3-4 months.
Huang has experience elbow discomfort since WBC training camp back in February. According to Guardians’ manager, Huang injury isn’t serious, but it will required surgery.
With Huang out of commission for the 1st half season, the organisation will now move their #2 starting pitcher Scott Richmond to bullpen, while veteran LHP 倪福德 (Ni Fu-Te) will take on the new role as starting pitcher.
