The “Wang Po-Jung” Watch: MLB, NPB Tracker

It is not a secret the teams from the MLB and NPB are interested in Wang Po-Jung. Over the years, fans spotted scouts from various overseas organisations at the CPBL games.

According to the CPBL rule, the Lamigo Monkeys’ outfielder 王柏融 (Wang Po-Jung) will be eligible for the international free agency after the 2018 season with the team’s permission.

With 2018 likely to be his final season in the CPBL, we figured it is a good idea to put together a list of all the MLB, NPB teams that are interested in Wang Po-Jung.

The team we listed below are either mentioned in the news or had their scouts and representatives spotted at the CPBL games. So, there could be more teams out there that choose to operate under the radar.

Just make it clear, obviously, as someone with no affiliations any professional organisation. I do not know whether they are actually interested or not, I only compiled this list based on scouts sightings or the news articles.

Without further ado, here is the list of overseas teams that potentially interested in Wang Po-Jung. [Last Updated: May 16, 2018]
