Coming into the series with the 5-game win streak, Chinatrust Brothers have suffered crucial loss last night against Lamigo Monkeys. After losing 林智勝 (Lin Chih-Sheng) 張志豪(Chang Chih-Hao) and 陳江和 (Chen Chiang-Ho) to injury.
陳江和 (Chen Chiang-Ho) [2B,SS,3B]
Brothers infield utilityman 陳江和 (Chen Chiang-Ho) exits the game with a sprained ankle after a home plate collision with Monkeys catcher while trying to score on a double steal. The 11-year Brothers veteran is known for his defensive ability has been used by the management as the late inning utilityman for the past 3 seasons. With Chen being sidelined, it would be interesting to see who the management will use to cover the middle infield in the late inning.
林智勝 (Lin Chih-Sheng) [3B,2B]
Currently ranked #2 in the CPBL home run leaderboard with 8 homers. Brothers cleanup hitter 林智勝 (Lin Chih-Sheng) is hitting .273/.373/.576 with OPS+ of 135. Lin Chih-Sheng exits the game after pulled his left hamstring while rounding the 1st base. Depending on Lin’s condition maybe we’ll see 許基宏 (Hsu Chi-Hung) or 曾陶鎔 (Tseng Tao-Jung) taking the 3rd base for the next few games?
張志豪(Chang Chih-Hao) [CF]
According to the media reports after the game. Centerfielder 張志豪 (Chang Chih-Hao) experienced discomfort in his ankle after being hit by a pitch in the bottom of 2nd inning. Chang is currently batting .327/.376/.634 with OPS+ of 149. Chang is also ranked #3 in the CPBL homerun ranking with 7 homers.
All three players are currently listed as day-to-day until further examinations. It is still unknown whether Brothers will call-up players from the farm team or not.

Chinatrust Brothers have sent down 林智勝 (Lin Chih-Sheng) & 陳江和 (Chen Chiang-Ho) to farm team. While 張志豪(Chang Chih-Hao) is back in the starting lineup tonight.
According to the rule of CPBL, both Lin and Chen will have to stay in the farm team for at least 10 days before they can be call up to the top team once again.
