Tyler Eppler had an outstanding 2024 season and undoubtedly earned himself the status of ace for the team. In 24 games, he compiled an impressive 2.75 ERA and a 1.09 WHIP, along with an above-average 19.4 K% and a 6.5 BB%, over a total of 150.2 innings.
- 150.2 Innings Pitched (5th in league)
- 2.75 ERA (6th in league)
- 1.09 WHIP (3rd in league)
- 118 Strikeouts (4th in league)
With the re-signing of Tyler Eppler, the Wei Chuan Dragons now have Drew Gagnon (2-year deal), Bryan Woodall (domestic status) and Jasier Herrera as their foreign players.
The Dragons’ general manager told ETtoday that they are currently in talks with Rio Gomez (2024) and a new foreign pitcher. The team is also considering signing a foreign hitter, with several outfielders and first baseman as potential candidates.
