Record-Breaking Nights for Teng Chih-Wei
It was a record night for the Uni-Lions’ first baseman 鄧志偉 (Teng Chih-Wei), as the slugger set a CPBL record with 16 total bases in a game. It is also worth mentioning that Teng tied the record for collecting six hits in a single game.
“It’s the first time in my life that I have hit three home runs in a single game,” said Teng Chih-Wei in the post-game MVP interview. “I want to dedicate this to my wife’s grandfather, who was a big fan of mine but unfortunately passed away a few weeks ago.”
