Uni-Lions news
Uni-Lions have released their closer Mike DeMark today. According to Lions GM, it is not due to DeMark’s performance, as the organisation at this stage simply need a starting pitcher rather than a closer. DeMark finished his 2017 CPBL season with 6 saves, 3.00 ERA, 1.24 WHIP with 2.82 FIP over 21 innings.
“We’re still in the process of finding new foreign player, but there’s no one in particular at this stage” Said Uni-Lions GM when asked by the media whether Lions will get a few foreign pitcher as back up.
With Lions part way with DeMark. Lions now have Bruce Billings, Alfredo Figaro and the newly signed Terance Marin in the rotation. (Here’s our interview with Terance Marin)
