TSG Hawks News: Yoshida Kazumasa
The TSG Hawks are certainly moving quickly this offseason with their foreign player signings. On November 7, the TSG Hawks’ general manager announced to the media that they have re-signed Yoshida Kazumasa (吉田一将) for the 2025 CPBL season. The 35-year-old Japanese right-hander will return for his second season in Taiwan.
Yoshida Kazumasa was brought in by the TSG Hawks toward the end of the 2024 season to replace Reymin Guduan. With his extensive NPB experience, Yoshida quickly settled into his role as a reliever for the Hawks. Across 15 games, he logged 15.2 innings, posting an impressive 0.57 ERA and a 0.89 WHIP.
“Beyond his strong performance on the field, Yoshida Kazumasa has fully embraced and enjoyed playing in Taiwan,” the Hawks’ general manager told UDN.
