TSG Hawks News: Bradin Hagens

On December 10, TSNA reported that the TSG Hawks have re-signed Bradin Hagens for the 2026 CPBL season. The 36-year-old American right-hander will return for his sixth season in Taiwan. According to the team, Bradin Hagens’ contract is worth 600,000 USD including performance-based incentive.

The 2025 season was undoubtedly a career year for Bradin Hagens in the CPBL. In his second season as a starting pitcher (he was a reliever from 2021-23), he silenced all critics’ concerns about his stamina and established himself as one of the top pitchers in the league.

Across 25 starts, Bradin Hagens posted an outstanding 1.89 ERA and 1.14 WHIP over 152.1 innings, along with a 182 ERA+ and 3.20 WAR. In nearly every game, he pitched 6 innings or more, providing the much needed stability and consistency for the Hawks’ bullpen.

22 Win Streak (August 2023 – August 2025)

Although “win stats” aren’t considered a major measure in modern baseball, Bradin Hagens did set an impressive CPBL record in 2025. From 29 August 2023 to 22 August 2025, he recorded 22 wins without a single loss across more than 49 appearances, spanning three seasons.
