TSG Hawks News: Spenser Watkins
On August 9, the TSG Hawks announced the release of Spenser Watkins. According to the team, the 32-year-old American right-hander will depart from Taiwan the next day.
“To my teammates, I wish you good health and all the best in your careers! I have always cherished the bonds we built through the grind of a long season, and these will be irreplaceable. I will miss you, and I look forward to witnessing your future achievements!” said Spenser Watkins to ELTA Sports.
Spenser Watkins finished his 2025 CPBL season with 15 starts in which he compiled a 5.11 ERA and 1.65 WHIP over 75.2 innings.
With the release of Spenser Watkins, the TSG Hawks now have Onodera Kento, Yoshida Kazumasa, Steven Moya, Bradin Hagens, Eric Stout, Sakurai Shuto and Dinelson Lamet as their foreign players.
