Team Taiwan Announces 2023 WBC Roster
It is the moment we have been waiting for. On February 6, Team Taiwan announced the final 30-man roster for the upcoming 2023 World Baseball Classic.
The Taiwanese WBC national team consists of 23 CPBL players, 3 NPB players and 4 from the MLB system (counting MLB free agents). There are 14 pitchers, 3 catchers, 8 infielders and 5 outfielders.
“It was not easy to select the 30 players for the national team. We did not finalise the roster until this morning,” said Team Taiwan’s manager Lin Yueh-Ping. “The next step is to train hard and make our country proud in the WBC.”
