Fubon Guardians News: Tanner Anderson
On January 27, the Fubon Guardians announced the re-signing of Tanner Anderson for the 2023 CPBL season. The 29-year-old American right-hander is set to return for his second season in Taiwan.
Tanner Anderson joined the Fubon Guardians as a mid-season signing in June and made his CPBL first-team debut three months later. In a span of six appearances, he posted a 1.72 ERA and 1.18 WHIP over 31.1 innings.
During the CPBL offseason, Tanner Anderson went to the Dominican Winter League and compiled a 1.31 ERA across 20.2 innings for the Leones del Escogido.
As of today, the Fubon Guardians have Enderson Franco, Tyler Eppler and Tanner Anderson as their foreign pitchers.
