CPBL Foreign Players Updates Volume #140
Fubon Guardians News: Ryan Bollinger
We all know this day is coming, it just the matter of when. On August 6, the Fubon Guardians finally released Ryan Bollinger by removing him from the active roster.
Bollinger was originally going to be the Guardians’ number three starting pitcher for the 2020 season, but it did not work out. The 29-year-old hard-throwing left-hander has been sidelined with a foot injury since spring training and never pitched a single inning in the first-team.
With the Guardians parted ways with Ryan Bollinger, the team registered Manny Bañuelos to their active roster. Many speculate the Guardians are likely to call up Bañuelos to the first-team this weekend.
