CPBL Foreign Players Updates Volume #338
Fubon Guardians News: Brandon Brennan
On July 26, the Fubon Guardians announced the release of Brandon Brennan. The 33-year-old American right-hander finished his 2024 CPBL season with a 5.34 ERA and 1.64 WHIP over 64 innings.
“The timing of his injury was not ideal, and we simply cannot wait for him,” said the Guardians’ manager.
Brandon Brennan has been sidelined since July 12, when he exited the game early due to knee discomfort. The team later revealed that he suffered a severe knee sprain.
With the release of Brandon Brennan, the Guardians will add Aaron Leasher to the active roster. According to the team, Leasher is set to make his CPBL debut on July 28 against the TSG Hawks.
As of today, the Fubon Guardians currently have Enderson Franco, Nivaldo Rodríguez, Jack Labosky, and Aaron Leasher as their foreign players for the 2024 CPBL season.
