The 2020 CPBL MVP is coming back! On December 15, the CTBC Brothers announced the re-signing of José de Paula for the 2021 Season.
The 32-year-old left-hander dominated the CPBL hitters in 2020. He finished the season with a strong 3.20 ERA, 1.16 WHIP across 174.1 innings and accumulated a 4.21 WAR.
At the end of the 2020 season, José de Paula ended up winning the CPBL pitching triple crown and took home the prestigious MVP award.
