2022 CPBL-NPB Exhibition Series Announced
According to the CPBL commissioner, the Uni-Lions manager Lin Yueh-Ping will be leading Team Taiwan in this upcoming two-game series against Samurai Japan.
The commissioner also hinted that the NPB All-Star team might travel to Taiwan for exhibition games once the Taipei Dome is fully operational.
Team Taiwan’s manager Lin Yueh-Ping told the media this CPBL squad would be mostly made up of players in their mid-20s.
“Because this age group would be the core of Taiwan’s national team in the future, you want them to have more international games experiences,” said manager Lin Yueh-Ping.
The last time the CPBL played an exhibition game against the NPB was in 2018. The CPBL All-Star won that game 6-5.
