CPBL Foreign Players Updates Volume #141
CTBC Brothers News: Mitch Lively
On August 28, the CTBC Brothers delisted Mitch Lively from their active roster, meaning the 34-year-old right-hander will not pitch another inning in the CPBL this year.
However, that is not the end of Mitch Lively’s journey in the CPBL. According to the team, they extended Lively’s contract until the end of 2020 season and re-signed him for the 2021 season.

Mitch Lively has been sidelined since July 10 with shoulder inflammation and has received PRP treatments for his injury. Although he is healthy enough to start throwing, however, the team is unsure he will able to be 100% ready before the September 21 trade deadline.
With Lively done for the season, the Brothers will call up 28-year-old Mexican right-hander Arturo Reyes to the first-team. Lively finished his 2020 CPBL season with a 3.94 ERA and 1.31 WHIP over 48 innings.
